A promotional poster and the drama teasers have been revealed for the upcoming KBS' new historical drama  "Blade and Petal". CNBlue's Jungshin cast as Siwoo  after impressing viewers for his acting, making it his second drama after his appearance on ’My Daughter Seo Young’.

CNBlue's vocalist Yonghwa is celebrating his 25th birthday today. That makes his 3rd birthday after debut. Today, fans send their endless warm greetings in hope to reach Yonghwa.

Yonghwa generously update fans with a photo of him and the gifts he received and wrote on their twitter account, "Everyone!!! Today is!!!!! Yong Day! kk Kya!!! kk Hethetdehet…It's my 3rd birthday after debut, I think I can celebrate a real happy birthday because of you! Thank you for always supporting me. Since it’s my birthday today, I hope it’s a party for all! I'm sorry I can't greet each of you, but I hope my heart reaches you!"



With his heartwarming message, fans responded,"Your heart safely arrives here.","Happy Birthday!","Hope we can celebrate more birthday with you!" and so on.

The boys of CNBLUE have dominated Japan’s pre-order chart with their upcoming single.

CNBLUE opened up the pre-ordering process for its upcoming single, “Lady”. Proving to be one of most beloved K-Pop groups, “Lady” ranked number one on Japan’s HMV pre-order chart, Korean-Asian pre-order charts as well as the daily pre-order chart.

“Lady” single album will contain three tracks, including the title song of the same name and new songs “Don’t Care” and “Monday”. The single will be officially released on July 31.


CNBLUE’s bassist Lee Jungshin went back into the past to transform into a Koguryo warrior.

On the group’s official Twitter, Jungshin posted a photo with the comment, “I’ll be working in my second drama project as Shi Woo in ‘The Blade and Petal’ and it will be aired after KBS drama ‘The Fugitive of Joseon’ ends. Please pay special attention to me!”

In the photo, Jungshin appeared as his warrior character Shi Woo. Shi Woo is an orphan who used to wander the streets but is picked up to be a part of the King’s secret warrior team. He is a bold character who boasts great martial skills and an eye for art.


CNBLUE will be releasing their 6th Japanese single.

Korean band CNBLUE who is currently busy with their 'BLUE MOON Tour' is confirmed to have their comeback in Japanese market as they will be releasing their 6th major Japanese single which will be released on the 31st of July.

Idol band CNBLUE is preparing for another comeback in Japan next month.

According to their Japanese label, Warner Music Japan, CNBLUE is set to release its sixth Japanese single titled “Lady” on July 31. The single album will contain three tracks, including the title song of the same name and new songs “Don’t Care” and “Monday”.

The single will be available in three different versions. The limited editions comes with additional DVD that includes music videos and live performances from their showcases in Japan last year.

Meanwhile, CNBLUE will be rocking two of Japan’s summer festivals in early August, including ‘ROCK in Japan 2013’ and ‘Summer Sonic 2013’.


CNBLUE has been appointed as the new promotional models for Korean food brand.

The Korean Agriculture and Fisheries Trade Corporation announced that CNBLUE members have been chosen to promote “K-Food”. They recently shot the commercials promoting a total of 27 products including ginseng, paprika, mushrooms and milk.

The commercial will go on air starting in mid-August via satellite TV in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam as well as global channels such as CNN, BBC, and the National Geographic Channel.

Leader Jung Yonghwa said, “Usually when we are abroad, we always enjoy the food because the Korean Agriculture and Fisheries do export a lot and we are proud to be able to promote K-Food overseas in the future.”

CNBLUE successfully kicked off their first ever concert in the Philippines.

On June 15, the group held its ‘2013 World Tour - Blue Moon’ at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, rocking the stage in front of some 4,000 cheering fans. They opened the concert with the English song “Where You Are" followed by “Get Away”, “One Time”, “Man Like Me” and “Coffee Shop.”

Other songs they performed included “I’m Sorry”, “I’m A Loner”, “Love Light”, “La La La”, “Love Girl”, “You’ve Fallen for Me”, “Feeling” and “These Days.”

In effort to connect to the audience, the members spoke in English and Filipino during the concert, and Lee Jonghyun, Kang Minhyuk and Lee Jungshin surprised Jung Yonghwa by preparing a birthday message for him in Filipino.

After the concert, CNBLUE posted on its official LINE accout, “Hello, LINE friends! BLUE MOON Manila ended successfully! It was a hot and exciting Saturday night, did you still remember it? Here’s now revealing the concert’s proof shot with the members!”, and shared a photo (above) from the concert.

Yonghwa also thanked their Filipino fans by tweeting, “Hello this is Yonghwa! I love the Philippines I love the Philippines I love the Philippines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you. It was an unforgettable night with your birthday wishes! I will take your passionate screams with me! I love the Philippines!!! x 100000000000000000000.
