FT Island’s upcoming Japanese single has been chosen as the CM song of a TV advertisement.

The group will release their 11th Japanese single titled ‘Theory of Happiness’ on July 24. The title song of the same name has been chosen as the CM song of the TV advertisement of Japanese dining company, ‘Sukiya’.

Sukiya is a major dining company in Japan which owns 1900 branches over the country. The TV ads featuring FT Island’s track will be aired starting on June 23.

Meanwhile, “Theory of Happiness” is also chosen as the ending theme song for Japanese animated film ‘Toriko’ which will be released on July 27th.

FT Island continues to storm local music charts with its latest Japanese release.

The band’s third Japanese full length album ‘RATED-FT’, which was released on June 24, ranked top on K-Pop weekly album chart accumulated by one of Japan’s largest music websites, ‘Yamano Music’.

‘RATED-FT’ contains 11 tracks in total, including title song ‘Freedom’ as well as a few number of tracks personally composed and written by the members. The album has been receiving high praises as it shows FT Island’s color very vividly.

FT Island’s frontman Lee Hongki transformed into a writer.

His management agency, FNC Entertainment, announced on June 24 that Lee Hongki will be releasing his very own ‘Lee Hongki’s Nail Book’, a book about nail art.

The book is for both men and women, and includes 144 pages worth of special photos of Lee Hongki, nail art tips and reading contents as well as his philosophy of nail art. Even though it is not released yet, a great number of nail art experts are already showing great interests.

Lee Hongki has big interest in nail art so he will show his self-done nails and some useful tips through the book. The FT Island vocalist said, “It is a great pleasure to release my first book, and I hope many people will read it together.”

In addition to Ryeowook and Luna’s music video released earlier, FT Island’s Lee Jaejin, AOA’s ChoA, Kang Dong Ho and Oh So Yeon also revealed their videos of their OST singles for the the Korean adaptation of Disney Channel hit ‘High School Musical’.

On June 21, CJ E&M released music videos for the tracks “The Start of Something New” and “Breaking Free”, providing the fans a first look of the musical version of the hit teen movie in which the four stars will be playing the lead roles.

The hottest idols who have been chosen as the main leads of the Korean adaptation of Disney Channel hit ‘High School Musical’ have released their singles for the musical version of the hit teen movie.

The ‘High School Musical’ is about the love, concerns and passion of young students enjoying living their dreams. Hot idol stars such as Super Junior’s Ryeowook, FT ISLAND’s Lee Jae Jin f(x)’s Luna, Kang Dong Ho, AOA’s ChoA will play the lead roles for the musical.

The Korea-version remake will premiere at the Blue Square Samsung Card Hall on July 2, 2013 and expected to run until September.

The full cast of High School Musical on stage are gearing for their upcoming remake on stage of the popular Disney teen movie. Official photos of the cast during their rehearsal have been revealed showing their readiness and enthusiastic performance.

Photos of the main cast such as Super Junior's Ryeowook, f(x) Luna, FT Island Jaejin, Kang Dong Ho, AOA’s Choa and musical actress Oh So Yeon were also released.

FT Island just released their third Japanese full length album ‘RATED-FT’ and they are already gearing up for another Japanese release!

According to the group’s official Japanese website, FT Island will release their 11th Japanese single titled ‘Theory of Happiness’ on July 24. The single will contain 3 songs, including the title song “Theory of Happiness”, and two others titled “Eyes on Me” and “Rainy Day”.

The group will also record the the ending theme song for Japanese animated film ‘Toriko’. The film is based on a Japanese comic book series by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro, about Toriko traveling all around the world to find various foods and compete in cooking contests.

FT Island has taken to the streets to promote their new Japanese album with trucks wrapped with their album jacket image and autographs.

Recently, a photo of FT Island members posing in front of their promotional truck was uploaded on an online community board. The truck was prepare for the promotion of their third Japanese full length album ‘RATED-FT’.

From June 10 to 16, the truck will be rolling around several commercial districts in Japan, including Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Omotesando to promote the group’s album.
